Last night I attended an event NR was sponsoring called Ignite Portland 8. Baghdad Theatre was the venue:

I walked through the front door with my friend from Thirty1Lengths and we got our wrists stamped:

We then found our marked seats. Thankfully as sponsors we had reserved seats! It was a packed house:

The Ignite 8 were folks were good enough to flash our logo on screen before the show:

As sponsors, we were in good company alongside solid folks such as the Silicon Florist:

It’s a nice touch that the Ignite crew encourages content production and distribution:

#IP8 tags were all over Twitter before, during and after the event (my phone below):

It’s kind of ironic that they instructed us to “silence” our phones.  We want you to use them, just turn the ringer off:

And then… speaker #1 took the stage and talked about Infusion techniques:

In total we saw 20 speakers take stage. Each giving 5 minute talks. I’d say allinall, Ignite Portland 8 was a success.  Mark you calendars: Ignite Portland 9 will be September 23, 2010.
